New Distributor: clair de lune + The Great Bra Exchange
We're starting off this new year with some very exciting news! MADI Apparel is debuting the launch of sales in our newest distribution outlet THIS TUESDAY from 4-7pm at clair de lune! We're also teaming up with our new distribution partners clair de lune lingerie boutique to donate bras and underwear to Hope House!
As always, for every pair of MADI underwear sold at our storefront or any of our distribution outlets, a pair is donated to a woman. We've donated MADI underwear to Hope House twice this year, and sales of MADI through clair de lune will allow us to donate even MORE to local Hope House. The Hawthorne Plaza, Kansas boutique will launch the ongoing offering of MADI Apparel underwear on January 5th, and for every pair of underwear purchased, a new pair will be donated to Hope House.
About MADI's new collaboration with clair de lune and The Great Bra Exchange:
For the past 12 years, clair de lune's non-profit Great Bra Exchange has asked their customers to donate gently used bras to victims of domestic violence at Hope House. The event has resulted in the donation of more than 20,000 bras, and in exchange, customers receive a $15 gift certificate for a new bra.
For this year’s Great Bra Exchange, held annually Jan. 2-17, clair de lune has teamed up with us for a special event on January 5. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. - where the boutique will launch the ongoing offering of MADI Apparel underwear. clair de lune will donate bras and MADI Apparel will donate underwear to the women of Hope House.
“Women often arrive at Hope House with nothing more than the clothes on their back,” CEO MaryAnne Methany says. “Who could imagine how important something like a bra becomes for women in their most desperate hour? And underwear tops our list of most needed under-donated articles of clothing. For women in need, undergarments mean more than a just a donation, they mean dignity.”
