MADI stands for "Make a Difference Intimates" - but it also intentionally represents a woman's name, symbolizing how every woman has the power to change the world.  Our founder Hayley wanted MADI customers to picture a woman like your own sister, mother or friend with a face, with a name (like MADI) receiving the donated pair of underwear.  Use #hersuperpower if you know a woman who beats battles every day or who is doing something amazing to better the world.

Bonica is an 18-year-old mom living in a deportee camp in Fond-Ballaird, Haiti.  She's not in school and currently living at home with her mother helping watch over her ELEVEN brothers and sisters.  For fun, Bonica likes to watch movies and dance in the village with friends.  She loved her 3 pairs of new MADI undies and hygiene kit filled with soap, shampoo and toothbrush.

MEET ISMAIsma's favorite food is fried plantains, she's from Hinche, Haiti and now resides in Fonds Parisien.  She enriches women's lives daily as she's been a midwife for 4 years at a birth clinic on the campus of Haitian Christian Mission.

Bobbi is a beautiful, strong mother seeking shelter with her children at Sheffield Place in Kansas City.  She was excited about her new, clean luxurious MADI undies and couldn't wait to try them on!  Bobbi shared her story with us about how she left an unhealthy relationship and job and is striving to become a good role model for her children.

MEET CAMILA (name changed for safety precaution)

"Camila" is a survivor of domestic violence who was living in government housing and reached out to us requesting underwear donations for her and her daughter after reading about MADI.  We traveled across the country from Florida to meet her in Fresno, California to hear her story.  She hand-wrote journal entries detailing her story and the courage it took to escape her abusive ex-husband.  She is still in danger and constantly on the run from her abuser as he has continued to chase her - for the past 17 years.
